What kinds of documents can I store in the USLaunchStack Document Center?

The Document Center accepts: formation documents (Articles of Organization / Incorporation, EIN confirmation letter CP 575, Operating Agreement, Bylaws, organizational minutes), banking artifacts (Mercury welcome letter, account confirmation, KYC filings), compliance evidence (FinCEN BOI confirmation receipts, annual report receipts, Form 5472 filed copies, FBAR acknowledgements), tax election forms (W-8BEN-E, treaty position memos), immigration drafts (E-2 / L-1 / O-1 application packets — without personal data unless encrypted), and vendor contracts (registered-agent agreements, CPA engagement letters, Stripe merchant agreements). All uploads are stored privately and tied to your account.

How are documents generated versus uploaded?

Generated documents are produced by USLaunchStack's pipeline: AI-personalised state recommendations, sample Operating Agreement clauses, EIN application worksheets, FinCEN BOI pre-filled form, Form 5472 pre-fill, FBAR Schedule FA mirror worksheet. Uploaded documents are anything you bring: passports, foreign incorporation papers, tax residency certificates, CPA-prepared memos. Both types appear in the same Document Center and can be tagged, grouped, and exported as a single PDF bundle for an accountant or visa attorney.

Who owns the documents after I upload or generate them?

Accepted Answer

You. Every document — generated or uploaded — is owned by the account holder. USLaunchStack does not claim a license except as required to display, render, and serve the file back to you. Documents can be deleted at any time; deletion is permanent after 30 days. We do not sell, share, or aggregate document content with third parties.

Question 4

Are my documents encrypted and access-controlled?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Documents are encrypted at rest in Cloudflare R2 (AES-256) and in transit over HTTPS. Access is gated by your account authentication (email + password + optional 2FA via TOTP). No public share links are generated by default — if you choose to share a document, you receive a single-use signed URL with a configurable 24-hour expiry.

Can a CPA or attorney view documents in my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes — by invitation. Send an access request from the Document Center: enter the CPA or attorney's email, select which documents they should see, and grant view-only or view + download access. Access is logged (who, when, what) and revocable at any time. Most founders grant their US CPA permanent access to Form 5472, EIN letter, and BOI confirmation, while keeping passport scans on a shorter (per-engagement) share window.
